Besides being super conservative with my jewelry (something I'm working on), I'm also very conservative with my make-up. I like to stick to neutrals and bronzes on my lids and almost never wear any color on my lips. I was feeling a little edgy and wanted to add some toughness to this delicate little skirt.

Yesterday was the second of three birthday dinner celebrations. I went out with Frank, mom and dad, and my godmother. We went to a Peruvian restaurant in NJ. It was UH MA ZING!!!!! I ate way too much. I'm up at 7am heading to spin class to burn it all off! Have a great day!!!!

Today I'm having dinner to celebrate two friend's birthdays. Happy Birthday Ca and Nicole!!!! I'm also getting a much needed haircut...hence the pony.  I thought why not pull out my new DVF. The dress is a bit long so I decided to pair it with nude pumps to lengthen my legs. I think I'm going to hike up the hem a couple of inches...right above my knee...what do you think?

It's here!!! I've been anxiously awaiting my new DVF purchase after scoring a timeless wrap at such a great price. I'm all about finding a good bargain, however I would purchase a DVF wrap at retail price (as I have in the past). DVF wraps are such timeless and complementary pieces for every body type. Most prints are office appropriate (depending on how conservative your office is) and they can take you from day to night with a simple change of shoes and jewelry.  I practically live in my DVFs all year round.

I got this shirt a couple of years ago at a DVF Sample Sale...too bad they don't carry stuff like this anymore. The recent sale was full of dark clothes, lots of boxy dresses and jackets. I'm crossing my fingers that they get better stuff in for the next sale...I need more tops!

Today is the day! DVF Sample sale in NYC. This day for me is the equivalent to Christmas for a 5 year old, or a tech geek waiting for the next Apple announcement! Although it happens twice a year, it feels like an eternity waiting for this sale. Today is the friends and family day, I'm still trying to figure out if this coupon will let me in. Tomorrow is a definite entry, so I'll be there anxious to add more pieces to my collection.

I bought this dress for my 31st birthday and haven't worn it since (I'm turning 35 in July ....GASP!) I'm not sure why I haven't worn it, it's so beautiful and just flows perfectly....I was able to eat a big dinner and not have to worry :-)

I started posting my daily outfit on July 5. So I'm really excited that I finally repeated a full outfit. It made me realize how much clothes I actually have....A LOT!!!! I'm definitely starting to visualize my "problem" and will focus on buying key pieces as opposed to a lot of "stuff".
