Lady like

Top: Banana Republic (similar)
Blazer: Loft
Pants: Express
Shoes: Cole Haan (similar)

I've been searching high and low for a chanel-like blazer. I found this during black friday at the Loft. The best part is so soft and comfortable. I feel like such a lady wearing it.

Cover up

Where: Work
Coat: Zara
Pants: Victoria's Secret
Shoes: Cole Haan (similar)

I was at Zara two week's ago.  They were changing the window arrangements and I saw this coat...gasp! I had to have it immediately. They didn't have my size (yah I know!) so I pulled out my ipad and ordered it online, paid no shipping, and got it a few days later. Gosh I love that they have online shopping, my credit card...not so much.

Ruby Red

Where: Work
Dress: Elie Tarahi (similar)
Sweater: Banana RepublicShoes: Cole Haan (similar)
Watch: Michelle

I fell in love with this sweater as soon as I saw it. You see, being top heavy, I often have to create an illusion of a bigger bottom in order to create balance. This sweater does just that! The ruffles are perfectly positioned on my mid-section, not too high and not too low.

Pop of color

Where: Work
Top: Bebe (similar)
Pants: JCrew (similar)
Blazer: Banana Republic (similar)
Shoes: Cole Haan

Sorry for the lack of posts, work has been super stressful lately....I guess that's why they call it a "job" right?

About the outfit, this top is SUPER old, but I refuse to let it go.  It goes with me from summer to winter and everything in between, it's just so versatile.  I thought I'd add a pop of color with this bright red blazer.  I'm trying not to fall back into my winter darks.

I absolutely love this dress, especially the cutouts on the sleeve. I ended up throwing this blazer over it, but I was running late this morning so I didn't get a chance to take another picture. BTW, isn't the bow on my belt super adorable?

There's nothing like the clean lines of a white button down shirt. Wear it with jeans, pants, or a pencil skirt like I did today. Raise your head up and walk proudly, you look fabulous!

I was a little hesitant about wearing leather to the office, however I fel this A-line, knee length skirt was perfect with a neat blouse.  I'll let you know if I get any weird looks :-)

My Daily Outfits - Army Green

Where: Work
Top: Aqua
Skirt: Banana Republic
Shoes: Cole Haan
Necklace: JCrew

Yikes, sorry for the blurry picture! I'm still using Frank's camera because I've been too lazy to walk 8 blocks to pick up mine at my friend's house. I don't know what my deal is but I just hate to walk. Don't get me wrong, I'm in the gym 4-5 times a week, spin about 3 times a week and even have a trainer, but I just HATE walking. Funny enough, someone from college rememebered me as the "girl that drove everywhere", mind you, I went to a school that had a bus system and didn't allow freshmen to have cars...somehow I figured out how to bend that rule  :-)

Now about the outfit.  I was planning on wearing this top with a striped skirt (seen here), but I thought it may be a bit too casual for my office...maybe a casual Friday.  Also, I would have paired it with tan shoes, and NYC is about to get a big storm and I've ruined way too many tan shoes in the rain.  I needed to find something that I could wear with black shoes, so I came up with this.  Have a great day!

My Daily Outfits - Office Style

Where: Work
Shirt and necklace: JCrew
Skirt: Banana Republic
Shoes: Cole Haan

Hey! I'm back! Sorry for being MIA. I left my camera at a friend's house on Thursday and I still haven't been able to get it back. I'm using Frank's camera, which I haven't used in a long time so I was having some issues with the flash (hence the blurriness....sorry!) But now that I'm back, let's talk about the outfit. I've formed a new obsession with JCrew's office attire and jewelry...yes, I know, where have I been? This shirt is so crisp and comfortable, I just love it. This neckalce is just so beautiful, I just couldn't let it sit there and not purchase it. Keep an eye out for more JCrew pieces coming up!

My Daily Outifts - Neons and Neutrals

Top: H&M
Jeans: Citizens
Shoes: Calvin Klein
Necklace: H&M
I love love love this color combination. Not to mention the "crop" shirt that reminds me of the 80s. I'm still off from work helping my sister get ready for the wedding. I didn't really wear these shoes, I wore flats instead. I think these shoes look way better, but I needed to be comfortable.

My Daily Outfit - August 16, 2010

Where: Work
From Closet
Dress: Rebecca & Drew
Belt: H&M
Shoes: Cole Haan

Calling all "busty" women out there. I know those who have, dont want it, and those who want it think we're the luckiest girls on earth. Well, for all of us that were "blessed", you know that wearing button down tops can be quiet a challenge. Let me introduce you to Rebecca & Drew. They custom make dresse and blouses by bra sizes, making the end result a perfect fit. Check out those two little buttons on the top, they secure everything in eliminating the usual "gap" where your bra peaks out. Now, there is a cost associated with this custom work, but it is very much worth it!
