My apologies for the lack of posts lately. It's been a crazy week at work, plus my back pains have forced me to work from home. Working from home usually means working in my PJs all day :-) Yesterday was one of those days, except that I got all dolled up at the end of the day to go to my friend's birthday dinner in the City. By the way, it's a scorcher today in NYC....103 degrees....that's just insane!!!

I first saw this dress in a Saks add magazine I received at home. I immediately ripped it out and went on a mission to recreate this look for less. I already had the H&M skirt that I bought back in the spring. I picked up the Target top during a trip to Jamesport and put it all together to recreate this $365 dress for under $150 (minus the bag)

Yikes...this morning was one of "those" mornings. I literally emptied out the contents of my closet on my bed. I pulled out my back yesterday, so I'm walking like a little old lady. It took everything I had to strike a pose this morning. I got stuck in traffic and was late to meet a customer...to top it all off, I left my cell phone in the car that Frank took home!!!! Yikes...hope this is not an idicator of how the rest of the day will go! Wish me luck!

I can't remember where I saw an add for Chickies, but as soon as I saw it I immediately went to their website and ordered them. They are "fake tanks" that provide clevage cover without the bulk. They are like a "strapless bra" shape, with little "ears" on each side that snap to your bra so it doesn't move all over the place. If you are "gifted" like moi, or just need some cleveage cover you MUST get some Chickies.
